Original judgement: treat the project-lead quotation that complete briefs and intake information were present as counter-evidence to the theme that active-brief visibility is a reported experience distinct from file completeness.

Human correction: classify the relationship as qualified, not opposing. The lead account narrows one proposed explanation—missing handover information—for two checked fictional cases. It does not contradict the sponsor’s uncertainty over which version was active, and it does not erase the distinction between a file existing and a participant being able to identify the current version. The earlier model classification remains inspectable history; the reviewed relationship is a fresh, run-specific human judgement.

Reason: a source can address a neighbouring proposition without challenging the theme itself. Semantic relationship analysis therefore asks “what exact claim does this quotation narrow?” rather than treating textual difference, exact quotation matching, or an older combined label as proof of contradiction. The same discipline applies to the sponsor’s waiting-decision account: it supports visibility of a decision and next owner, but does not prove that an approval caused a repeated question.

Limits: these are three deliberately selected authored fictional accounts, not interviews, population data, or measured operations. They cannot show frequency, causation, usefulness, demand, willingness to pay, economics, competence or buyer value. The working paper is internal and engagement-bound. It is not current approved advice, closed-work evidence, or permission for broader method change. The candidate improvement below is deliberately generalised for owner consideration only; adoption requires a separate owner decision and recorded permission.

Claim-to-relationship review for qualitative evidence

Draft practice example for owner consideration, not approved doctrine: For each quotation attached to a candidate theme, record the exact proposition the quotation supports, qualifies, contradicts, or leaves unclear. A quotation qualifies a theme only when it narrows a stated proposition; a different account is not automatically counter-evidence. Preserve an original label as history, add the reviewer’s corrected relationship with a reason, and retain uncertainty where the source does not establish causation or frequency. Before proposing a new intervention, compare the existing process against the specific proposition being investigated. This general method requires fresh applicability and human review in each use.
