Build n Bloom · Roster Agent

SCHADS breach detection before the roster goes live — not after the ATO finds it.

The Problem

If your roster is not SCHADS-clean before publish, the exposure is already live.

Since 1 July 2026 super is paid on every payday rather than quarterly, and it has to reach the fund within seven business days. A SCHADS breach on a published roster is now a Fair Work exposure and a tax exposure on the same pay run. Most providers are still checking rosters manually, after the fact, when someone complains.

7 days
Business days for super to reach the fund after each payday, since 1 July 2026
$546,000
Maximum civil penalty per contravention, 15+ staff, since 1 July 2026
Pre-publish
When breaches need to be caught — not after payroll runs

How It Works

1

Week 1 — Roster audit

We map your current rostering system and run a SCHADS compliance check on the last three months of published rosters. Every breach is logged.

2

Week 2 — Integration and rules build

Integration with your rostering software. SCHADS rule set configured — minimum engagement, broken shifts, allowances, and penalty rates.

3

Week 3 — Pre-publish gate

Every roster runs through the compliance gate before publication. Breaches flagged with the specific SCHADS clause. Roster manager notified before anyone is paid incorrectly.

What changes

A community care provider with a mixed casual and part-time workforce under SCHADS. Illustrative of the operational change — not a specific client result.

Before the agent

Rosters checked manually by the operations manager, when there is time.

SCHADS breaches discovered post-payroll, as a back-pay liability rather than a correction.

No Fair Work reporting process in place.

After the agent

Every roster runs the compliance gate before publish — breaches flagged and corrected pre-publish.

The manual roster audit is no longer the only line of defence.

A Fair Work-ready report is generated on demand.

A breach caught before publish is a correction; the same breach after payroll is a back-pay claim. Guarantee terms are set per install and confirmed in writing.

AI that does the admin. Humans that do the care. The agent checks rosters against the SCHADS Award — it does not make staffing decisions. When a breach is detected, the roster manager is notified with the specific clause and the correction required. The decision stays with your team. The compliance check no longer depends on anyone having time to do it manually.

The Guarantee

Written acceptance terms agreed before the build; the exact wording is in your proposal.

The Operational Diagnostic includes a roster compliance scan. Thirty minutes. The number may be larger than expected.

Payday Super has made SCHADS compliance a tax issue since 1 July 2026. Every pay run since then has carried its own seven-day clock.
